Nepal has been facing energy crisis since decades. Across the country, over 12 million people do not have access to electricity. The 2025 agenda of the company includes ambitious goals to provide over 120 MW of clean hydro energy in Nepal. Hydropower, Nepal’s largest source of renewable electricity, has an increasingly important role to play as part of a sustainable and economic energy portfolio, adapting to climate change.
